it's been record-breaking hot for the past 3 weeks. and at this very moment there's a thunderstorm right outside. Weeyrd weather.
so i got rehired for week nine (this current week). and so far, i wouldn't consider it the best week. but hey i'm not doing this for me. in devotions today, lowell and keith reminded us that this is simply for God. and simply impossible to do alone. a mother of a camper joined us for a word of encouragement. and guess where she read from?? hah, yes, what i reflected on below. i got seriously attached to that passage. i'm very upset camp is almost over. and also that it's back to downtown school (dreading it) and moving into our new (and once again: temporary) apartment. mark is arriving this coming sunday. he should've come last sunday but missed the plane, which made me mad. but he's starting school right away. and we've got andrea (my only older female cousin) 's wedding. this weekend a bunch of counselors are heading up to a lakehouse. i really want to go. we'll see if i can. tmrw some of my covenant group girls may be sleepover-ing. which i think is gonna be a blast. hope we can get up for work the following morning =S . oh and that 80's bowling thing? hah. we SO won it. yessir. rock on dooohoooods!
