Saturday: sat in the lazyboy by the window. fleece blanket inside, rain gently coming down outside..... looking up t'wards the heavens.... shouldn't rain hurt when it hits us?? what's the distance from the clouds to our heads noses and shoulders? and the 9.8m/s? it's meters right? yeah, wouldn't that hurt? sorry i had to ruin the cuddle mood with a physics question.

There are many other variables.... like air resistance (leading to a fixed terminal velocity), density, viscosity, mass (determining inertia as well as pressure upon impact, which is also dependent on the terminal velocity)... and probably lot of other stuff... inno...
