i can take a breather.

today is natedawg's bday. if i remember correctly. aw. i haven't heard from him since he went to training. i was shaken up when i watched jarhead at the movies. i pray for him... it's the least i can do for what he did for me.

it gets rreaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllleeeheeeeheeee cold in the computer lab. especially being nearly barefoot.

speaking of which, i haven't walked on a beach for years. since... since... or graduation trip to a *sweet* cove off the south border of turkey. even of the many times i've been to va beach, i've only gone 2-3 times to the seaside walkway, and got lucky to tread on the sand once. in boots.

my back is currently seriously jammed. if i do any extreme moves like reaching down to pick something up, pain shoots down my spine and fans out across my entire back. oh, the NERVE.

i looked at the baby photo i have in my room.. taking it out of its frame, i noticed that the photo itself is starting to crack. i also noticed the same on a photo of mum that dad took of her while they were in college. i'm looking into photography courses at private art schools. i refuse not to learn how to develop film. i want to have my own dark room. maybe dad will teach me when he comes. mum told me he used to develop his photos in a locked up bathroom.

i'm eating ritz bisskits. not the addictive bitz, just the ritz. it's all i could grab as i flip flopped out the door this morning. mum had taken my car to have it washed, so all my cds and stuff were nowhere to be seen ofcourse. luckily she had left the one i was listening to yesterday in the player (or she just didn't know how to take it out =P) so i let that play.
i haven't heard this cd in a while. it's an old favourite. (i only forward 1 song =P). there was unusual traffic today but i had the radical comfort of earthsuit. yesterday i'd heard 'whitehorse' and remembered when i first heard it on the wow cd. i remembered rana hearing it for the first time. we were crammed in the backseat of their car heading down to church. good times.
today's song (from the other half of the cd) though reminded me of someone else. i remembered him because he told me that he remembered me when he heard it. 'said the sun to the shine' is still one of my favourites. it just appeals to me in ... a radiant way ;). the lyrics are still up on my yahoo site. read them carefully. they describe a cool power that struck me as i gazed out at blue skies, foot getting comfortable on the brake.
